The 2011 PSP-exclusive visual novel Phantom Thief Angels: Twin Angel – Labyrinth of Time and World is finally making its way to a wider audience with an HD remaster, Re:light, now available on PC via Steam. Developed and published by Alterciws under the supervision of Sammy, the remaster brings back the beloved Twin Angel story with enhancements for today’s visual novel enthusiasts. The game follows Haruka Minazuki and Aoi Kannazuki, two high school students who lead double lives as the crime-fighting Phantom Thief Angels. As they battle against the sinister organization known as The Black Fund, they find themselves caught up in a new mystery involving stolen artifacts and unexpected allies.

The remaster includes branching storylines where players can experience the adventure through different perspectives. Completing the main routes unlocks the Tesla Route, revealing deeper mysteries behind the game’s events.

Upgrades and New Features

The PC release upgrades the game with 1920×1080 full HD support, enhancing character sprites and CG artwork for a sharper look. While the original PSP version included a slot-based battle mechanic, the remaster removes this feature to focus more on the narrative-driven gameplay.

Additionally, while the base version does not include voice acting, an optional Re:lightt + DLC—scheduled to release on March 21—adds full voice acting with the original cast, including Yukari Tamura, Mamiko Noto, and Rie Kugimiya.

Ties to the Twin Angel Anime
