The developers of sci-fantasy turn-based RPG Honkai: Star Rail are back with a new Amphoreus trailer dedicated to mythology. In addition to shedding just a bit more light on the conflict between the Titans and the Chrysos Heirs, it shows some of the upcoming playable characters in action.

The star of the show is no doubt Phainon, who had previously taken central stage in a few other trailers. Additionally, viewers can glimpse a bit of Tribbie, Aglaea, Anaxa, Mydei, and Castorice. There are even nods to some familiar faces: Black Swan and the Stellaron Hunters.

“The river of time flows backward, bringing scenes of the future before your gaze: In the Eternal Land that no one remembers, the legend of the Trailblaze is about to begin. “Stand with me, and become heroes!”

The upcoming patch will mark a new era of the Trailblaze, with the Express crew setting course for a planet not visited even by Akivili: Amphoreus, only seen through the mirrors of the Garden of Recollection.

Instead of the Aeons, the inhabitants of Amphoreus believe in Titans, godlike beings who represent both benevolent and malicious forces. There are a total of 12, now lost to the encroaching dark tide. Over the thousands of years, Amphoreus took part in a Flame-Chasing journey to reclaim the Titans’ Coreflames and start the age of mortals, but the efforts were only partially successful.

Only six Coreflames had been restored by the Chrysos Heirs, with another six still remaining out of reach.

Honkai: Star Rail – Version 3.0 Additions & Events Include:

  • Optimization and enhancements such as increased Trailblaze Energy cap, increased number of Immersifiers, Relic system optimization, and more.
  • Hypogeum Enigma event – The explorer Demionis is preparing to explore the ancient city ruins… He seems to have forgotten to invite you?
  • Illia Travelogue – Legend has it that Illia, the Chrysos Heir, spent his entire life wandering Amphoreus and his personal letters were eventually discovered by a wandering poet, thus giving rise to this travelogue.
