When is the Developer Direct livestream?

How to watch the Developer Direct show
As usual, the Developer Direct will air across all the Xbox social channels, including YouTube and Twitch. We’ll also be covering the event, so even if you can’t watch live, you can catch up on everything here on TrueAchievements.
What to expect from Xbox’s Developer Direct event?
We already know a good chunk of the line-up for this week’s Developer Direct. Compulsion Games’ South of Midnight will feature, as will Sandfall Interactive’s Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, and id Studios’ DOOM: The Dark Ages.
All three of these titles are expected to launch in 2025, but we don’t yet have specific release dates for them (although Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 has a tentative “spring 2025 release window), so we can perhaps hope for more info on that front during the event.
However, one part of the line-up is causing a big stir: the Xbox Wire announcement promises that we’ll also “visit a surprise location to see another studio’s brand new game.” Already, reports have suggested this mystery game might be from a legendary Japanese IP, leading to plenty of speculation on that front, with players wishing for everything from Dragon Quest news to Devil May Cry.
The Xbox Developer Direct event kicks off later this week, and we’re hoping for release dates for some of those major titles, particularly upcoming Xbox exclusive South of Midnight. What about you? What are you hoping to see? Let us know in the comments!
