Nvidia didn’t just unveil its powerful, next-gen graphics card at CES month – it also showed off the first ever Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090 gaming PC build. This incredibly powerful PC was a one-off build to celebrate the RTX 5090 and show off its potential, showcased in an incredibly unusual (and very expensive) PC case.
This Nvidia gaming PC is truly one-of-a-kind. The RTX 5090, now the best graphics card as far as performance is concerned, is the obvious center piece, but it’s almost upstaged by the $7,100 InWin Infinite PC case it sits in. Gorgeously lit up with green RGB LEDs, this gaming powerhouse also uses a top-tier AMD gaming CPU, giving it specs that no other gaming PC on the market can currently match.
Built by custom PC builder Mellow Mods, this “Blackwell Infinite” gaming PC was showcased during Nvidia’s CES announcement for the RTX 50-series. The specs and build process were shared via a post on Reddit and in a YouTube video, which you can watch above.
It isn’t just an Nvidia affair, however, with the AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D and 64GB of G.Skill Trident Z5 Neo RAM ensuring that there wasn’t a chance that this PC could see a bottleneck during any CES gameplay testing, along with a 2TB Samsung 990 Pro NVMe SSD for storage.
As you can expect from these kinds of specs, this is a power-hungry beast, with the Corsair HX1200i providing 1200W to give both the GPU and CPU some breathing room. Standard gaming specs aside, the build offers a few intriguing surprises, including voice-activated smart glass that opens the case up on demand.
I’ll admit that I was pretty sceptical of the InWin Infinite PC case when I first wrote about it, describing it as looking “a lot like a shoe.” Mellow Mods has shown, however, that with the right specs and add-ons, this highly unusual (and hugely expensive) case can elevate a normal PC build into a piece of art, and I think most gamers wouldn’t turn it down if they were offered it themselves.
