Respawn’s instant hit, Apex Legends, could be getting a huge new update soon in the form of Ranked Play.
The game – which ‘stealth launched’ in early February – has already attracted a huge contingent of players (over 10,000,000 in the first 72 hours!) and seems to be growing still.
But if Respawn wants to keep attracting players, and holding onto the ones it’s got, it’s going to have to keep pace with battle royale giants like Fortnite and PUBG: introducing new game modes, new maps, new content, new updates and more to satisfy the unquenchable thirst of gamers around the world.
At least for now, the developers can add platform exclusive bonuses for the title to keep the player base happy – and that’s just what you can get if you’re a member of EA Access.
In a blog post over on the official Play Apex website, Respawn announced that players on Xbox One and PC (that also happen to be subscribers of EA Access) can get bonus skins and currency to use in Apex Legends.
If you’re a member of EA Access, you should just be given a pack when you boot the game on your Xbox One or via Origin on PC.
The bonus content included for players when they boot up includes:
- 1000 Apex Coins (worth about £6.99)
- An exclusive Flatline Epic Weapon Skin
- A special Banner Badge
This is to thank players for using the EA service (and offers Xbox players something nice to offset that PlayStation Apex Legends PS+ Play Pack
You simply need to be a member of the service and boot up the game and the bonus content will be added to your account.
To make sure you get the content, players on Xbox One and PC must log in to Apex Legends by June 30, 2019.
