Asus introduced the ROG NUC 2025 back in CES 2025, but the company didn’t share anything about the price and availability back then. Now, Asus has announced that the gaming mini PC with the Nvidia RTX 5080 will be available in China in late April 2025.
This comes after the company made the NUC 15 Pro range available to purchase, but while Asus revealed that two configurations of the ROG NUC 2025 will be available in China, it didn’t specify the CPU that’s inside. Looking back, the company confirmed that this gaming mini PC will pack Intel Core Ultra series 2 CPUs at CES 2025, and the Chinese promotional poster mentions that the system features an unspecified Core Ultra 9 CPU.
Per VideoCardz, the two configurations of the mini PC that are about to be available in China will feature the Core Ultra 9 275HX, one of the top-end offerings within the Arrow Lake line.
As for the price, the gaming mini PC featuring the Nvidia RTX 5080 Laptop, Intel Core Ultra 9, 32 GB of DDR5 RAM, and 1 TB PCIe Gen 4 SSD will go for CNY 24,399 in China. That converts to around $3,336, and there’s another configuration with 2 TB of storage (2 TB Samsung 990 EVO Plus curr. $139.99 on Amazon), which will cost CNY 24,999, around $3,418.
It goes without saying that these price tags make the ROG NUC 2025 quite expensive, putting it pretty much in the same range as a high-end gaming laptop. However, the Core Ultra 7 variant could be a little more affordable. Asus has yet to share global pricing and availability details for the new RTX 5080-powered mini PC.
