The Kyoto-based independent games studio Q-Games has revealed that its previously announced experimental third-person shooter, Dream of Another, will be released on PC via Steam in 2025. The game was initially announced for PlayStation 5 and PSVR2 in February 2025.

Additionally, the team announced that the PlayStation 5 version of Dream of Another will be playable for the first time at the Day of the Dev 2025, San Francisco, and GDC editions.

About Dreams of Another

Dreams of Another is helmed by the multimedia artist Baiyon, the director of PixelJunk Eden. The game is built around the philosophical theme of “No Creation Without Destruction.” Instead of destroying objects with shooting, shots will materialize and create the world.

Further, the title promises fantastical environments made using unique point cloud technology alongside an experimental soundtrack by Bauyon himself.
