Konami has announced that its upcoming action RPG, Edens Zero, will be released on July 15, 2025, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and the Microsoft Store.

About Edens Zero

This video game adaptation of the manga and anime series by Hiro Mashima, known for Rave Master and Fairy Tail, focuses on protagonist Shiki Granbell and his allies exploring the cosmos.

Fans can anticipate a fully realized 3D world with multiple explorable planets and voiced cutscenes alongside the original story. Combat features eight playable characters who use their Ether Gear abilities to prevail. Characters will join the party throughout the story, and they all have their own action style, such as close-range melee, long-range shooting, weapon-based attacks, and offensive magic.

This title will also feature new story beats not from the source material, with over 200 quests bringing life to the home planet of Blue Garden. The developer has also teased a collaboration with an unspecified “big title.”

Customization boasts over 700 pieces of equipment, with stat and appearance alterations being key features of the experience. Plus, cosmetic changes can be made without worrying about stats being affected. Ether Gear skills can also be unlocked, emphasizing several avenues of action.

Lastly, Edens Zero features a ship base where you can buy and sell items, upgrade equipment, cook meals to buff the party, and more. Moreover, several characters, including enemies you meet, can be recruited, enhancing your ship’s abilities.
