Don’t worry about missing out on a platinum for the sake of saving money. Most of these games dodge the 47 titles with broken platinums in the Next Level Savings sale. Little Nightmares 2
- Navigate those terrifying Little Nightmares 2 trophies
- Little Nightmares 2 is at its lowest price with 67% off in May 2025
- Price: $9.89/£8.24/9,89€
In this demented sequel to Little Nightmares, you’ll be playing as an entirely new protagonist known as Mono. However, you will also be working alongside Six (the previous game’s protagonist) as you try to find a way to escape the Pale City. This nightmarish world is full of an array of horrid monsters that you will need to outsmart if you want to stand any chance of making it out of the city alive.
With such a hefty discount, there has never been a better opportunity to dive into this phenomenal sequel. It’s full of scares and twisted story moments that I am sure will make you squeal in delight. With that in mind, this game was part of the PS Plus Essential lineup for September 2024. So, make sure you don’t actually own it already before attempting to purchase it.

Fashion Police Squad
- Bring the style and earn those Fashion Police Squad trophies
- Fashion Police Squad is at its lowest price with 55% off in May 2025
- Price: $8.99/£6.29/7,64€
In the recent wave of re-energized boomer shooters, how do you stand out? Well, I recommend the Fashion Police Squad approach — add a few modern twists to the standard Doom formula, but most importantly, be hilarious.
The little bit of innovation here is using the belt to swing and whip your way through the stages, giving you this advanced movement option that makes you feel like a genius for stringing together some stylish kills. Pair that with the excellent premise of being a violent fashion sense enforcer, a lovely art style, and an reasonably easy platinum trophy, and you’ve got yourself an excellent shooter to pick up on the cheap.

I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream
I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream is a fantastic point-and-click adventure game set in a man-made post-apocalypse. Humanity’s war AIs have melded together into one, a hateful entity called AM, that preserves the lives of the last five people in the world in order to torture them in increasingly creative ways.
You take on the role of each character and help them beat AM in the horrific scenarios the AI has set up for them today. Make no mistake, this is a truly classic adventure game, and that means that puzzles are difficult and the best ending is incredibly tough to unlock.
With that said, this is also a fascinating title based on an iconic sci-fi book that gets you thinking on multiple levels, including how each protagonist must feel, and how the primary AI antagonist must feel, given it’s lot in life. It’s mind-bending and disgusting like only a 90s point-and-click title can be, but very much worth the time investment.

RoboCop Rogue City
- Blast your way through those addictive RoboCop Rogue City trophies
- RoboCop Rogue City is once again discounted by 85% during this PS Store sale
- Price: $8.99/£7.49/8,99€
RoboCop Rogue City sees you prowling the streets of Detroit, taking out swarms of enemies in increasingly over-the-top and gory ways. I mean, what other games can you smash an enemy to pieces using a dumpster? It’s all pretty epic. The game is action-packed, and the gameplay is so addictive that you’ll never want to put your controller down.
Rogue City plays into the classic movies with a story set between the films RoboCop 2 and RoboCop 3. It’s a solid action title that doesn’t overstay its welcome, yet it’s bursting with content to uncover. So, at its reduced price, I can’t recommend it enough.
However, as with Little Nightmares 2, the game was recently part of the PS Plus Essential lineup for April 2025. Which means you may already own this one if you remembered to redeem it before it left the service.

Endless Dungeon
- Prepare for pain while earning the Endless Dungeon trophies
- There is 50% off Endless Dungeon in the latest PS Store sale
- Price: $9.99/£7.99/9,99€
Truthfully, the best way to enjoy the intense top-down action of Endless Dungeon is with friends, which means convincing them to buy a copy and play online. That’s usually a hard sell — the game doesn’t offer much as a single-player experience. Sure, it’s nice to look at and the action works, but it’s definitely a game that feels at its most fun and balanced with friends making sloppy mistakes together.
That’s why if you’re ever going to check this one out, I heartily recommend doing so while it’s cheap in the current PS Store sale! You can share this with up to three players in online co-op, and you’ll also probably need their help if you’re ever going to unlock this shockingly tough platinum trophy on PS5!

Outward Definitive Edition
- Set out on an epic quest to earn the Outward Definitive Edition trophies
- Outward Definitive Edition is currently 80% off — basically a steal on PS5
- Price: $7.99/£6.99/7,99€
Outward is one of the most hardcore RPGs you’ll ever play, to the point that many people quit it before they’ve really mastered every mechanic. Developer Nine Dots Studio realized its vision almost to fault, because this game can be incredibly clunky and annoying to play, but it’s also exhilarating to master.
In this RPG you play as an adventurer trying to survive in a harsh world. As you explore, you’ll encounter threats that can end your run in an instant, so it’s best to prepare things like all your magical spells and runes so you can use them in a pinch. If you don’t, there’s a good chance your magical skills will be useless, because preparation is everything for Outward‘s magic system.
With that said, this isn’t all hardcore RPG gameplay. There’s plenty of co-op fun to be had if you want to take on a playthrough with friends, and you can all band together to create a thriving settlement. Each journey is unique, and the only thing guaranteed is pain, suffering, and wrangling with nuanced mechanics. Rest assured that by the third time you butt heads with something like your backpack slowing your toll, you should start to remember to drop it.

SoulCalibur VI
- Pick your best fighter and earn those SoulCalibur VI trophies
- SoulCalibur VI has 85% off in the Next Level Savings PS Store sale
- Price: $9.59/£8.24/10,49€
Soulcalibur VI serves as a sequel and a reboot to the series. It takes place during the 16th century, revisiting the events of the first two games in the SoulCalibur series, while also still following on from the events of SoulCalibur V. So, yeah, it’s a little confusing.
There is an array of characters to choose from, which includes the likes of Ivy, Taki, Kilik, Nightmare, and Sophitia. Heck, even the legendary Witcher himself, Geralt of Rivia, is a playable character. The combat is as fast-paced and as ferocious as ever, seeing you demolish your opponents with a variety of slick weapons.
It’s a fighting game like no other and certainly deserves more love than it receives. So, with such a meaty discount in the latest PS Store sale, I implore you to dive in and check it out!

Romancing Saga 2
- Those Romancing Saga 2 trophies offer up one truly epic quest
- Romancing Saga 2 has 70% off during this May 2025 sale!
- Price: $7.49/£5.99/7,49€
If there’s something you truly love about a modern JRPG, you’ll likely find a little bit of it tucked away in this remake of the SNES classic Romancing SaGa 2. You like open-world, non-linear narratives? You like a game’s battle and levelling system to be made of pure liquid math? You like an RPG world that reacts to your decisions in ways that allow it to feel personal to your playthrough? You can find all of that stuff in Romancing SaGa 2.
It all comes with the caveat that Romancing SaGa 2 was perhaps overwhelmingly ambitious for its day, and so it doesn’t exactly pull off all of that stuff gracefully. Still, it holds together decently enough, and for less than $10, you’re definitely getting a pretty meaty slice of JRPG history during this PS Store sale.

Vanquish
- Slide and shoot to snatch the Vanquish trophies
- Vanquish has 75% off in the Next Level Savings sale
- Price: $6.24/£4.99/6,24€
Vanquish is a blast from start to finish. It’s a true PlatinumGames classic in the sense that it’s all high-octane action and goes far beyond your expectations at every moment. The story follows Sam Gideon as he dons the Augmented Reaction Suit to help the government destroy huge, deadly robots.
You’ll bounce between cover and shoot every enemy standing in your way before getting up close and personal to beat up the last few stragglers with mechanically enhanced boxing moves. It’s quite something to behold and endless fun while you’re playing through it.
One of the best parts of the game is the ability to slide around, shooting everything while being almost impossible to shoot yourself. The boss fights are huge visual spectacles and incredibly gratifying. It’s just pure action adventure fun you can switch off the world to, and a game you’ll almost certainly want to platinum just so you can keep playing a little while longer.
