Developer HoYoverse announced that Honkai: Star Rail Version 3.1 pre-download is available now for PC, mobile (iOS & Android) and PlayStation. The update will be available this Wednesday, February 26, bringing along a new Trailblaze mission, playable characters, reruns, events, enemies, and much more.
Pre-installing the materials will shorten the amount of time you have to wait before gaming once the patch is live. The developers recommend leaving ample storage space ahead of the time and proceed with the download while connected to a Wi-Fi network.
Honkai: Star Rail – Version 3.1 Pre-Download Details:
- PC: the installation file’s size is approximately 4.5 GB. To ensure the smooth updates, it is recommended to reserve about 10 GB of storage space. To install, openHoYoPlay. On the left side of the “Start Game” button, you will find the “Game Pre-Installation” icon. Click the icon to start the download. While pre-downloading on PC, Trailblazers can continue to play the game.
- Android & iOS: file size is roughly 2 GB, after the pre-installation is complete, a file integration process will occur, requiring 9 GB of storage space. To pre-download, launch the game; the “Resource Pre-Download” button will appear in the bottom-right corner of the login screen. Tap to begin. Note that while the down is underway, you are unable to play the game.
- PlayStation: After Trailblazers launch Honkai: Star Rail, if sufficient storage space is available on the device, the game will automatically begin pre-installing Honkai: Star Rail after a short period of time. It is recommended to reserve 14 GB of storage space for the PlayStation® pre-installation.
