Following the success of the RIG 900 MAX HX for the Xbox, NACON has launched a dedicated PlayStation version—the 900 MAX HS—bringing the well-received peripheral to a whole new audience.
Known for producing high-quality esports headsets, RIG was acquired by NACON back in 2020. Their headsets are popular with casual and professional gamers alike, and their latest offering builds on the tried-and-tested model that earned its predecessor, the RIG 800 Pro, Techradar’s gaming accessory of the year. In terms of design, the 900 MAX HS looks mostly the same as the previous model, but features improved battery life and customisable sound profiles through the MAX Navigator app. It also comes at a higher price point, but that’s the trade off for premium features.
