Theft: Westown Boulevard
Officers at 10:30 a.m. March 4 responded to a theft complaint at an apartment on Westown Boulevard.
The complainant was upset because two house guests he had sleep over the night prior had left with some of his property. His new “friends” took the victim’s Xbox, monitors, and his keys and vehicle.
Officers identified the couple, who were well known to the department. The stolen vehicle and other stolen items were found at an extended stay hotel in North Olmsted. Officers found the suspects staying at the hotel and arrested a 30-year-old woman and a 34-year-old man. They said they were homeless.
Police said both will be charged with felonies through Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Court.
