Valorant (Riot Games)
Three and a half years after it was announced, Tencent-owned Riot wants you to know it hasn’t forgotten about Valorant for mobile. However, following closed beta testing in China last year there’s still no word on a release date.
In a 2025 update video (via Gaming on Phone), Valorant studio head Anna Donlon said: “You may have seen some of the playtest footage. We have an amazing team partnering with us on that work and we’ll be sharing more on that in the future.”
Yakuza Wars (BB Game)
This officially licensed game brings Sega’s series to mobile in the form of a crime simulation strategy title. Pre-registration has opened on iOS and Android in Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macau ahead of a spring 2025 release, Gaming on Phone reports.
Once Human (NetEase)
Following its PC release last summer, this multiplayer open-world survival game will launch on mobile devices in April 2025, Eurogamer reports.
I’m Mafia (Century Games)
Players are tasked with building a mafia empire in this crime simulation game. It soft launched on Google Play in Hong Kong and the Philippines, but is no longer available, according to Appmagic.
Mahjong Wish (Level Infinite)
A listing for a new Mahjong game from Tencent’s Level Infinite publishing brand has popped up on Google Play (via Appmagic), though it’s not yet playable.
Pool City – 8 Ball (Level Infinite)
Appmagic says this pool game has soft launched on Google Play in Australia, Canada and the Philippines.
Carmen Sandiego (Gameloft)
This globetrotting crimefighting adventure title will debut on Netflix Games for iOS and Android starting on January 28, Gaming on Phone reports. It will be released for consoles and PC on March 4, priced at $29.99.
Path to Glory (Gameloft)
Blending city-building, warfare and diplomacy, this medieval strategy game has soft launched on Google Play, Appmagic reports.
Tavern Legends: Battle Loot (My Games)
This fantasy-themed PvP backpack packing game has soft launched on the App Store, according to Appmagic.
Match Legends (Imaginite Studios)
This PvP match 3 title has soft launched in 18 markets on the App Store and in 22 markets on Google Play, according to Appmagic.
Sudoku Jigsaw (AppyNation)
Having previously been available for iOS, this daily logic puzzle game has now soft launched for Android in the UK and the Philippines, according to Appmagic.
HypeHype (HypeHype)
The game creation and playing app, which has been billed as mobile’s ‘TikTok for games’, has expanded to new countries. It’s now available in Brazil, Canada, Finland, France, Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria, Philippines, Poland, Turkey, Ukraine and Vietnam.
FAU-G: Domination (Nazara)
The first Android beta for this multiplayer FPS, which is developed by Mumbai based Dot9 Games, recently launched in 60 markets, according to Appmagic.
Etheria: Restart (XD Games)
A closed beta for this team-building turn-based RPG is now available on iOS, Android and PC until January 20.
Back 2 Back (Two Frogs Games)
Inspired by the likes of It Takes Two and Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes, this is a co-op racing and shooting game played exclusively by two players on their own phones. It’s available now for iOS and Android.
