Many in the West tend to be big fans of both Japanese-developed video games and video game sales, which the PlayStation 4 has no shortage of. A new sale has begun on the PlayStation 4, called the Big in Japan Sale, which has discounts on many Japanese-developed games available on the PlayStation Store.
Right off the bat, one of the most prominent games featured in the sale is Resident Evil 7: Biohazard. The game is 25% off at $14.99 and is considered one of the PlayStation 4’s scariest horror games in its reimagining of the Resident Evil series. The first-person perspective gave the series a whole new vibe and Capcom managed to recapture the terrifying nature embodied by the original Resident Evil.
Dragon Ball FighterZ is 75% off and, as such, is priced at $14.99 as well. One of the best Dragon Ball games of all-time, the game is highly admired as a fighting game and should be within the consideration of gamers who have held off on getting the game due to pricing.
Tekken 7 is on sale as well. It is currently 70% off for $14.99. As Tekken 7 reportedly has superior performance on PlayStation 4, anyone trying to determine which version to get may be able to make up their minds shortly.
Resident Evil is also on sale on PlayStation 4. Down from $19.99 at $7.99, the game drastically improves on the original GameCube game both visually and in gameplay terms. It is widely considered one of the best Resident Evil games ever released and, further, the superior version of the first Resident Evil title. Anyone looking to get into the series would do well to start here during the Big in Japan Sale.
Other titles discounted via this sale include:
As can be seen above, there is quite a wide variety of games on sale. Many of them have been huge hits with gamers, including Resident Evil 2, Yakuza 6: The Song of Life, and Devil May Cry 5. As such, for anyone thinking of purchasing any of these titles, it would be wise to act as soon as possible. The Big in Japan Sale will end on September 24 at 11:00 AM E.T.
