Dragon Ball Z Kakarot has an easy platinum to earn on PS Plus
Dragon Ball Z Kakarot is a fantastic fighter, providing a solid fighting game experience along with its easy platinum trophy. You’ll play as a whole host of iconic Dragon Ball Z characters as you work through some of the best story arcs from the anime. It’s a pretty smooth ride all around, with no missables or insanely difficult trophies to earn.
The game will roughly take between 35 and 45 hours to beat, which doesn’t leave you guys with a whole lot of time left to try and earn the platinum. Kakarot will leave the PS Plus service on Tuesday, March 18, 2025. So, you have just over a week to cram in those hours and add this platinum to the collection.
If that sounds like too daunting of a task to undergo or you know you just don’t have the hours to spare, not all hope is lost. Kakarot is currently part of the Dealmania PS Store sale and can be picked up for a pretty decent price. So, if you’d rather tackle the game without those time constraints, think about picking it up while it’s got 75% off its normal price.
The game’s platinum is pretty straightforward. You simply need to beat the game’s story, complete side missions, cook five full course meals, and complete training exercises 10 times with one character. You’ll also want to summon Shenron’s 10 times, perform various moves in battle, defeat villainous parties 30 times, destroy boulders, and complete a level 10 challenge in the Training Room.
The aforementioned trophy that involves the Training Room (‘Tough Enough‘) is probably the hardest trophy to earn. Currently it sits with a completion rate of 6.30% on PSN, so that shows even the hardest trophy in this game isn’t that hard to contend with. My advice is to leave this one till last as you’ll be nicely leveled and have a lot of experience that should help overcome this fight.

That’s pretty much it, just play the game at your leisure and things should unlock naturally. As it stands, the platinum ‘Dragon Ball Master‘ sits with an overall completion rate of 6.30% on PSN. I can confirm that this is a simple platinum to earn as I grabbed it myself.
However, I was on the longer side of things, taking just under 45 hours to finish. With that in mind, I took my time and didn’t rush through the story. I suspect you’ll be able to trim the time down quite a bit if you put your mind to it. Other than that, this is just a fantastic game that I really think you should check out. Especially if you’re a Dragon Ball fan.
