Community members PongSoul, Psychonauts8 and others have pointed out that Xbox’s ID@Xbox showcase promo on twitter features Miles Morales of Spider-Man fame, for just a moment.

In a tweet, Xbox has announced a new ID@Xbox Showcase airing on February 24th in partnership with IGN. During the video embedded in the tweet roughly 4 seconds in, Miles Morales is shown in a scene from Across the Spider-Verse.
Knowing how these things work, I’m going to guess that this is just a mistake or is tied to IGN’s own promotion of their week-long event. Having it morph into the ID@Xbox logo alongside a clip of Cuphead is certain to confuse anyone who watches it, though.

Spider-Man on Xbox, it’s happened recently!
After a short while without everyone’s favorite web-crawler, Xbox finally got Spider-Man back on the system with the release of Marvel Rivals. We reviewed the title, stating:
“Marvel Rivals has finally launched to the public. This 6v6 Hero fighter features dozens of classic and modern Marvel heroes as they duke it out across the multiverse. It’s a beautiful, fun, and bold title. It’s also shameless in how many mechanics and character moves it takes from Overwatch. After many matches, I think I’m ready to write down my thoughts before I go back and play many more.”
Finishing off with “Marvel Rivals is an excellent start to what should be a long-running franchise. NetEase has done a great job of proudly using mechanics that are well-known while crafting a uniquely crazy experience all their own. This 6v6 hero shooter/fighter has started from a place of strength. With proper leadership, it should only improve and grow as the years pass this multiverse by.”
