A livestream celebrating the 15th anniversary of the NieR franchise is taking place on April 19, 2025, Square Enix has announced.
The publisher has said that the livestream will last two hours and 30 minutes long, and will a number of guests including key members of the development team and voice actor Hiroki Yasumoto.

Nier was directed by Yoko Taro and released for the PS3 and Xbox 360 in 2010, although different versions were released in Japan depending on the platform. The PS3 release featured a younger main character under the title Nier Replicant, while on Xbox 360, the title was released as Nier Gestalt and included an older protagonist. The game was later remastered for PS4, PC, and Xbox One in 2021 as Nier Replicant ver.1.22474487139…
Nier Automata, a sequel developed by PlatinumGames, as released in 2017 for PS4 and PC, with an Xbox One and Nintendo Switch version following in 2018 and 2022, respectively.
