The Epic Games Store has just kicked off its first mobile game giveaway, months after it announced that it would be eventually so. While the storefront’s macOS and Windows free games are easy to add to an Epic Games account, there are a few workarounds that must be performed to grab a game for free on Android and iOS.
Generally speaking, the Epic Games Store reveals its plans for its future game giveaway shortly after discounting a new title to $0.00. For instance, it wasted no time yesterday in outlining what game it would be offering on January 30 for free after this week’s deal returns to full price. The same is true for its mobile free game program, which is currently limited to Dungeon of the Endless: Apogee.
Epic Games has now announced that Bloons TD 6 will be its next free mobile offering, which retails for $6.99 on Android. The only indication as to the game’s discounted period is that it will be ‘coming soon’. The storefront’s first mobile giveaway will end on February 20, but Epic Games’ press release implies that Bloons TD 6 and Dungeon of the Endless: Apogee will be redeemable simultaneously.
