Marvelous Europe has officially announced Daemon X Machina: Titanic Scion, a new entry in the high-speed mech-action franchise, set to launch on Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam on September 5, 2025.
Developed by Marvelous First Studio and helmed once again by producer Kenichiro Tsukuda, Titanic Scion builds on the intense, customizable Arsenal combat that defined the 2019 original. Players will pilot their mechs through a hostile open world, switching between high-speed aerial battles and on-foot exploration while gathering new gear and modifying their loadouts to suit their style.
A new trailer was released showcasing the game’s frenetic combat, massive boss encounters, and some of the alien environments players can expect to traverse.
Bigger Battles, Bigger World
Titanic Scion promises a darker narrative direction, placing players in the role of a Reclaimer fighting against the Axiom, a powerful new enemy force threatening humanity’s last strongholds. Longtime fans can expect the return of core mechanics with added depth, while newcomers will benefit from streamlined systems and expanded customization.
Legendary mechanical designer Shoji Kawamori is once again attached, contributing to the game’s distinct sci-fi visual identity.
The game supports both co-op and asynchronous multiplayer, allowing players to team up for story missions or contribute to shared goals without needing to be online at the same time.
