Monster Train re-joins Game Pass today

After last week brought us the excellent surprise Game Pass addition of Balatro, it seems we have another today with Monster Train, which is back in the Game Pass catalogue under “recently added.” It’s available for Game Pass Ultimate, Standard, and PC Game Pass.The popular strategic roguelike deckbuilding game sees you trying to reclaim hell from the powers of heaven, choosing from five clans to back you up with different styles of gameplay, and collecting, improving, and upgrading your cards.
Monster Train has an estimated completion time of around 20 to 25 hours, but five achievements are marked as buggy, so it might be worth checking individual achievement guides as you work your way through.
There was no prior announcement about Monster Train coming back to Game Pass — perhaps it just jumped the gun of the official Xbox announcement, or perhaps it’s to do with the recent announcement of Monster Train 2 as coming soon to Xbox Series X|S.
