Xbox One owners have been treated to some great news ahead of the Games with Gold February 2019 free games reveal.
Xbox Gold subscribers can play two highly-rated Xbox One games for free over the course of the weekend.
First up is Forza Horizon 3, which is available until the early hours of Monday morning.
It’s joined by Dragon Ball Fighterz, which was one of 2018’s highest-rated brawlers.
“This weekend is all about power! Take command of powerful fighters in the world of Dragon Ball and powerful cars on the Gold Coast of Australia,” reads a Microsoft blog post.
“Xbox Live Gold members can play Forza Horizon 3 and Dragon Ball FighterZ for free as part of the Free Play Days event.
“Starting on Thursday, January 24 at 12:01 a.m. PT and running through to Sunday, January 27 at 11:59 p.m. PT, high-octane fights and the Horizon Festival await you.”
The games can be accessed through the Gold member area on the Xbox home dashboard.
If you enjoy the games and want to add them to your library permanently, you can also take advantage of some big discounts.
Dragon Ball Fighterz is down to just £20 for Xbox Live Gold subscribers. Forza Horizon 3 is ever so slightly cheaper, costing just £19.49.
And as an added bonus, you can keep your progress and any Achievements when upgrading to the paid game.
The news comes as fans wait to find out the free Xbox Games with Gold releases for February 2019.
With the next batch of free Xbox One and Xbox 360 games going live on February 1, Microsoft’s Major Nelson is expected to make the announcement by the end of the week.
And while the free games lineup is yet to leak online, fans have been busy predicting what games are coming next.
In a new post on Reddit, fans have suggested that games like Rainbow Six, Abzu and Crackdown 2 could join the lineup.
The latter would certainly help build some hype for the imminent release of Crackdown 3.
Others have suggested that The Division will be made available ahead of the launch of the sequel – although this seems unlikely.
