Crunchyroll has announced that the classic RPG Ys II Chronicles is now available for mobile players on the Crunchyroll Game Vault. Ys I Chronicles joined the service earlier this month. This latest release features touchscreen controls and game controller support.
About Ys II
This direct sequel to Ys I picks up after Adol Christin gathers the six Books of Ys and defeats Dark Fact. Rescued by Lilia in the land of Ys, Adol embarks on a journey to uncover the secrets of this kingdom and forge new alliances.
Gameplay:
- Bump System Combat: Continue battling enemies by physically colliding with them, a hallmark of classic Ys gameplay.
- Magic System: Introduced to expand combat options and provide greater gameplay variety.
- Transformation into a Roo: Allows Adol to communicate with monsters, mainly adding humor, though it is also a puzzle element for progression.
Ys I & II Chronicles+ are also available on PC via Steam and GOG.
