Samsung and MOONTON Games have collaborated to launch the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) Campus Series, a collegiate esports tournament targeting student gamers in Southeast Asia. This initiative, part of Samsung’s Galaxy Gaming Academy, aims to provide a platform for young esports enthusiasts to develop their skills and pursue professional aspirations. The tournament will feature national qualifiers across Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, and the Philippines, culminating in regional finals in Indonesia. Participants will compete for a prize pool of $40,000, with Samsung’s Galaxy S25 Ultra smartphone serving as the official device for the competition. The smartphone’s advanced features, such as the Vulkan engine and a 120Hz display, are designed to enhance the gaming experience.

The Campus Series is open to students aged 18 and above and seeks to bridge the gap between amateur and professional esports. By offering a structured competitive environment, the initiative aims to foster talent and build a community among student gamers. The tournament schedule includes qualifiers starting in late April, followed by national and regional finals in May and June. This collaboration underscores the growing popularity of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang in the region and highlights Samsung’s commitment to supporting the next generation of esports players through innovative technology and opportunities.
