We have already reported on the GMKtec Evo-X1 HX 370 back in November 2024. Now, the mini PC is being offered in another model variant. It does not fundamentally differ from the previously available versions, but comes with significantly more memory. To be more exact, the mini PC is now available with 64GB of RAM and a 1TB SSD. This version is currently on sale for $1,029, while the regular list price stands at $1,699. It is unclear if GMKtec will ever charge MSRP for its latest mini PC.
This computer measures 110.19 x 107.3 x 63.2 millimeters and is powered by the AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370, which has 12 cores and an AI computing power of 50 TOPs. The system comes with an integrated AMD Radeon 890M graphics unit and eGPU support via OCuLink. There are two PCIe 4.0 slots for full-sized M.2 2280 modules, while external hard drives can be hooked up via USB 4. This port can also be used for video output, but the GMKtec Evo-X1 also sports HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 2.1.
Moreover, there are two USB 3.2 with 10 Gbit/s on the front, a 3.5mm headphone jack is available as well. On the back, the mini PC has two more USB 2.0 ports in addition to two Ethernet ports with a maximum data transfer rate of 2.5 Gbit/s. The computer further supports Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2.

I have been active as a journalist for over 10 years, most of it in the field of technology. I worked for Tom’s Hardware and ComputerBase, among others, and have been working for Notebookcheck since 2017. My current focus is particularly on mini PCs and single-board computers such as the Raspberry Pi – so in other words, compact systems with a lot of potential. In addition, I have a soft spot for all kinds of wearables, especially smartwatches. My main profession is as a laboratory engineer, which is why neither scientific contexts nor the interpretation of complex measurements are foreign to me.
My fascination for technology goes back a long way to the Pentium II era. Modding, overclocking and treasuring computer hardware has since become an integral part of my life. As a student, I further developed a keen interest in mobile technologies that can make the stressful college life so much easier. After I fell in love with the creation of digital content while working in a marketing position, I now scour the web to bring you the most exciting topics in the world of tech. Outside the office, I’m particularly passionate about motorsports and mountain biking.
