Heads up Lonely Mountains fans! Lonely Mountains: Snow Riders, the new game from developers Megagon Industries is bringing the snowy slopes direct to your Xbox Game Pass subscription!

Lonely Mountains: Snow Riders is the follow-up sequel to Lonely Mountains: Downhill, which was actually my ‘Game of the Year’ way back in 2021. Putting the mountain bike aside, this sequel sees players picking up a pair of skis and taking to the slopes in a variety of challenges.

Even better, the game features 2-8 player cross platform multiplayer races, where friends can ‘try to master the mountains together in the cooperative team mode, or overcome challenges and speed-run your way to the top of the leaderboards in the solo mode.‘

The game is coming to Steam and Xbox (including Game Pass) on January 21st 2025. You can wish-list the game here:

“Lonely Mountains: Downhill is a both a relaxing and invigorating change to most games of its nature, in addition to being a game that requires precision, skill and patience to really get the most out of it. Either way you roll, I’d wholeheartedly recommend picking this up – I haven’t screamed “F**K!” at my screen when I’ve screwed up with this much earnest all generation. Back to the checkpoint. Stupid tree.“
