Greetings, friends, and welcome to Mobile Game Monday, where we chat about games you can play on the go. If you like gaming on a phone or tablet, this is the place for you. Join us every week as we go on all sorts of adventures.
This week’s Mobile Game Monday is a little different because instead of focusing on a specific game we are checking out the free games offered in the mobile Epic Games Store. Since the beginning of this year, the mobile Epic Game Store has been offering free games once a month. Even better, the platform will now be offering more choices with new games coming every Thursday.
Note that the Epic Games Store is currently only available worldwide for Android. The platform is only available for iOS in the EU but Epic is working on bringing the program to more locations.

Getting the Goods
The first step to claiming your gratis goodies is downloading the Free Epic Games app. Use your existing Epic account to ensure access to anything you have previously bought or earned. For example, any cosmetics earned in Fall Guys on another platform will be available in the mobile version if your accounts are connected. If you have yet to create an Epic Games account, you can easily do so for free.

Once you have downloaded the app and created your account, all that’s left is to claim your freebies. The hardest part is remembering to check in weekly. Luckily, Geek Girl Authority will be there every week with a friendly reminder to grab your booty.
Get the mobile Epic Games Store app for free in the Play Store.

Past Titles and What to Expect
Previous titles offered through this program include Dungeon of the Endless: Apogee, a roguelike dungeon defense game, and Bloons TD 6, the incredibly popular tower defense game. If the offerings from the original Epic Games Store are any indication of what to expect from the mobile program, expect to see a wide range of genres. From triple-A titles to hidden indie gems, if you stick around long enough, you are bound to get something you like. If not, it didn’t cost you anything so there’s nothing to lose.
Free This Week
Super Meat Boy Forever is an auto-runner platformer originally released in 2020 by Team Meat and Headup. The evil Dr. Fetus has kidnapped Meat Boy’s adorable baby, Nugget, and it is up to you to get them back.

Eastern Exorcist is free in the mobile Epic Games Store until March 27 at 10 am PST.
Our Adventure Ends Here
As a kid, I would have loved access to so many freebies because (at the risk of sounding really old) back in my day, there was no such thing as a free game. Unless you were lucky, most of us only had a small selection of games that we played over and over because that was all that we had. In a world where it seems that no one can agree on anything, I think it’s safe to say that we all love free games. So go out there, get your goods, and let’s play together.
