The Backbone One has been lauded as one of the better mobile gaming controllers for iOS and Android users for quite some time, and today it is officially introducing its new Xbox Edition. Adorning eye-catching transparent green aesthetics – we really love the look here, Backbone says this isn’t just any mobile controller, but rather one that’s an extension of Xbox itself. Now available for purchase directly from Backbone, you can get a closer look and more details down below.

All-new Backbone One: Xbox Edition

The new Backbone One: Xbox Edition very much follows in the footsteps of previous iterations, just with the new see-through green treatment and some specific features just for Xbox gamers – basically just a dedicated Xbox button that allows gamers to directly “tap into their favorite games like Halo Infinite, Forza, and Indiana Jones” with a single press.

Backbone seems to have been working in combination the folks at Xbox on this too – “Xbox and Backbone brought this product to life with a shared vision and commitment to innovation and accessibility as they continue to create new ways for players to experience Xbox games beyond the console.”

Inspired by Xbox’s legacy, innovation, and core identity, the Backbone One: Xbox Edition isn’t just another mobile controller – it’s an extension of Xbox itself. Gamers can tap into their favorite games like Halo Infinite, Forza, and Indiana Jones with a press of the Xbox button. The new edition allows you to explore your favorite games with the precision, comfort, and reliability that Backbone is known to deliver. The device is complete with transparent Xbox green, a black PCB and the iconic Xbox button. Xbox and Backbone brought this product to life with a shared vision and commitment to innovation and accessibility as they continue to create new ways for players to experience Xbox games beyond the console.

The new Backbone One: Xbox Edition officially launches today directly on the Backbone site at $109.99 shipped – it is compatible with essentially all USB-C iPhone and Android devices.
You’re essentially paying a $10 up-charge for the transparent green treatment here as the standard Backbone One black model carries a regular price at $100 – seems mostly fair to me.
