From time to time, Nintendo renews various trademarks to protect their brand and perhaps employ for future products. You never know if anything will come from these renewals in terms of new products, as it can honestly be a 50/50 shot.

Today brings us yet another batch of trademark renewals from Nintendo, and only time will tell if anything public-facing will come from them. With that in mind, here’s what Nintendo has just refreshed:

  • ‘Seal of Quality’ in Japan covering “home video game consoles” to “ROM cartridges storing video game program software” and more
  • The Legend of Zelda covering goods and services (including appliances, food, and medical-related items), and more

We’ll keep an eye out for any new products or initiatives related to these renewals should they pop up.
