Aniplex and XSeed Games released a demo for the Nintendo Switch version of The Hundred Line -Last Defense Academy-. The demo is similar to the one currently available on PC, with the save data able to be carried over to the full release. It lets players play through the first seven days of the adventure strategy RPG and introduces the main cast, battle system, bonding system, and more. In addition, the companies released an eight-minute trailer showcasing the game’s combat and non-combat activities.
The Hundred Line -Last Defense Academy- is a new title from Kazutaka Kodaka and Kotaro Uchikoshi, the creators of the Danganronpa and Zero Escape series respectively, and combines adventure elements with strategy RPG combat. The game sees supposedly unremarkable student Takumi Sumino forced to transfer to the eponymous Last Defense Academy. Between battles, players can explore the school and deepen their bonds with classmates, while the story will feature numerous choices for Takumi that can lead to different endings.
The Hundred Line -Last Defense Academy- will launch for PC (via Steam) and Nintendo Switch. Those looking to read more about The Hundred Line -Last Defense Academy- can check out Ryan Costa’s recent impression from early access to the game’s demo.
