Com2uS revealed they are developing a dark fantasy within the Tougen Anki universe. Tougen Anki recently revealed an anime adaptation based on the manga of the same name. Revealed during Anime Japan 2025 in Tokyo, the RPG project aims to deliver a faithful recreation of the anime’s world, featuring its gritty tone, stylized visuals, and character-driven storytelling.

Anime and Game Set to Launch in 2025

The Tougen Anki anime is slated to premiere in the second half of 2025. Based on the manga by Yura Urushibara, which has surpassed 3 million copies in circulation, the series blends supernatural action with intense familial conflict, focusing on the descendants of Oni and Momotaro locked in a secret war.

Com2uS, alongside partner G-Holdings, shared early glimpses of the game at Anime Japan, including a 40-second teaser and in-development screenshots. The game is being built as a role-playing experience that preserves the tone and story of the source material while introducing unique gameplay systems designed to fit the Tougen Anki universe.

Multi-Platform Ambitions with High-End Visuals

Leveraging advanced 3D modeling and modern development tools, Com2uS promises a stylized RPG that captures the anime’s bold art direction. The title is currently being developed for both mobile and PC, expanding the publisher’s cross-platform presence and aiming to attract a global audience.

While further gameplay details remain under wraps, Com2uS stated that the game will not only stick closely to the narrative and aesthetic of the anime but will also offer original content and mechanics to deepen player immersion.
