Another Call of Duty game rumored to join Game Pass soon
- Xbox Game Pass will reportedly add 2009’s CoD: Modern Warfare 2 in March or April
- It’s unknown if it’s the full 360 version of the game coming to the service or 2020’s Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered
- None of the classic Call of Duty titles are currently available in Game Pass
After those Call of Duty PC ports appeared out of nowhere, it seems that Microsoft is finally ready to start adding some classic Call of Duty games to Game Pass. As reported by XboxEra and corroborated by Insider Gaming, 2009’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 will join Game Pass in either March or April. If true, this will be the first classic Call of Duty game to join the service. So far, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III and Black Ops 6 are the only games from the FPS series to be included in Game Pass.
Unfortunately, it’s unclear if it’s the 360 version joining Game Pass, the 2020 campaign remaster, or both, so it looks like we’ll have to wait for an official announcement before we find out more.
