We know that Xbox has well and truly changed its strategy over the last year or so, and we’re seeing that come to fruition with the next batch of Xbox games confirming to be coming to PS5 including Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, Forza Horizon 5 and Doom: The Dark Ages, but nobody could predict that they’d have such a big impact.
At the time of writing in Australia and in most other parts of the world, Forza Horizon 5 Premium Edition and the Indiana Jones and the Great Circle Premium edition lead the pre-order charts on the PlayStation Store with the standard edition of both games following behind them.
This is pretty remarkable given Forza Horizon is a 4 year old game with both of these titles even coming ahead of Death Stranding 2: On The Beach digital pre-orders that only went live a few weeks ago as well as Atomfall which releases later this week.
Xbox has definitely picked a great time to release both games as well with Indiana Jones and the Great Circle releasing on April 17th and Forza Horizon 5 releasing on April 25th.
It’ll be interesting to see how these sell long-term and what other games Xbox brings to the PS5 (and Nintendo Switch 2) in the coming months.
